Tracing the Invisible explores the quiet instinct that leads us forward before we fully understand where we are going. Sweeping white lines travel across richly layered fields of burnt orange, rust, copper and deep crimson, tracing pathways through marks and textures that emerge and disappear beneath the surface.
Layers of paint, print and expressive mark-making are illuminated with gold leaf that shifts with the changing light. At times it glows brilliantly; at others it recedes into the surface — a luminous presence that cannot be fully captured in a photograph.
Some marks are deliberate; others arrive through experimentation and chance. Together they create a sense of movement, as though something unseen is passing through the composition, leaving only traces behind.
Tracing the Invisible is an invitation to trust those impulses we cannot always explain — the marks we don’t yet understand, the paths we cannot yet see, and the light that reveals itself as we move.
