What Will You Learn?

  • First, I’ll show you the simplest technique for making an image transfer, and then we will look at how to create a two colour mono print on the gel plate.

  • You will learn how to create image transfers with your vintage photos and we will experiment with the effects of using stencils on the gel plate.

  • In the first bonus lesson, I will show you step-by-step how to create an easy collage with a vintage design.

  • In the second bonus lesson you will see how I use my favourite image transfer to create a funky modern design.

Where you start is not where you will finish. The adventure is in the journey.

Who Is This Class For?

Perfect for beginners, I will show you each technique with clear examples, exactly how you can achieve these results at home.

If you are more advanced in your painting style, then this art class will inspire you, by showing you new techniques to try, or even to help you to find a fresh approach.

At the end of the class you will be able to create successful image transfers using your own photos and as a bonus, I will show you how to turn your image transfer into a beautiful finished collage.

It is deeply satisfying to create art from your own photos.

You can use your favourite photos of your kids, your pets, or even your car!
