Dance Moves Stencils

When I was kid, I remember watching a Goofy cartoon, and he was learning to dance. Goofy moved up and down and all around, and as he moved his feet, it made the most fascinating pattern. It was a collection of fun shapes, lines and marks. This is the origin of my new collection of stencils titled, “Dance Moves”.

A set of three stencils, each with four shapes created from my “ink blot” technique. A mark making method using fluid acrylic paint on the gelli plate. In its creation, each shape is organic and unique, with the only difficulty being consistency. With the need for a more permanent solution, I created this set of stencil shapes, where the marks are made with precision and ease, every time!

The twelve shapes are bold, yet intricate and imaginative. Giving you so many possibilities for infinite creative projects.
